Arrival Policy:
We ask that all pet patients are restrained while awaiting their appointments. This can mean either that they are leashed or crated. No matter how well-trained a dog or cat may be, we firmly believe this policy is in the best interest of all parties involved for safety reasons.
If you suspect your pet has possibly contracted a contagious disease, such as kennel cough, please try and let us know so we can make special accommodations and prevent the spread of disease.
Cancellation/No-Show Policy:
Effective Starting 2/24/2023
Cancellation/No-Show Policy for Appointments
We understand there are times when you must miss an appointment due to an emergency or family/work obligation. We respectfully request 24 hours advance notice to cancel an appointment. When you do not call to cancel an appointment, you may be preventing another patient from receiving much needed treatment.
Failures to cancel/reschedule appointments within the requested 24 hour time frame and all appointment no-shows will result in a $25 non-refundable deposit to schedule all future appointments. Should the rescheduled appointment not be kept, there will be forfeiture of the deposit.
Scheduled Appointments
We understand that delays can happen, however we must try to keep the veterinarian and other patients on time. If you arrive 10 or more minutes past your scheduled time, we will have to reschedule your appointment for another day and time.
Cancellation/No Show Policy for Surgery
Due to the large block of time needed for surgery, last minute cancellations can cause problems and added expense for the office and for other patients.
If a surgery is not canceled or rescheduled at least 2 days in advance or there is a no-show for the surgery appointment, you will be charged a non-refundable deposit for ½ of the low-end estimate for the surgery upon rescheduling the surgery. Should the rescheduled appointment not be kept, there will be forfeiture of the deposit.
